Job Title: Freight Forwarding Sales Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive with a strong background in the freight forwarding industry to join our team. As a Freight Forwarding Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, acquiring new clients, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Your primary focus will be on generating revenue by promoting and selling our freight forwarding services to businesses across various industries. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:
1. Identify and target potential clients in industries such as manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods to generate new business opportunities.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our services.
3. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and use this information to develop targeted sales strategies and pitches.
4. Proactively seek out and respond to sales leads, inquiries, and requests for proposals (RFPs), and prepare and present compelling proposals and quotations to potential clients.
5. Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of services to clients.
6. Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals on a regular basis, consistently driving business growth and profitability.
7. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients, ensuring a win-win situation for both the company and the customer.
8. Utilize IST software and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities, maintain accurate records, and generate reports on sales performance and forecasts.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes related to freight forwarding, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
10. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our services, build a strong professional network, and generate leads.
11. Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay informed about our service offerings, pricing structures, and value propositions to effectively communicate with clients.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
2. Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation industry.
3. Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding operations, including import/export procedures, customs regulations, and logistics processes.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and negotiate effectively.
5. Self-motivated and target-driven, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales goals.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
7. Proficiency in using CRM software, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
9. A customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
10. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
